Assisted with all aspects of personal injury and medical malpractice matters. Conducted legal research, analyzed facts, developed legal arguments, and wrote initial drafts of motions and briefs. Attended depositions, hearings, and trials. Took notes during depositions and drafted reports detailing lines of questioning, witness answers, and potential defenses to help prepare for upcoming proceedings and settlement negotiations. Analyzed deposition transcripts. Reviewed training manuals for large transport trucks and identified important provisions regarding safety compliance for use in motor vehicle accident cases involving trucks. Served process on defendants.
Provided Bank Secrecy Act-compliant anti-money laundering (AML) analysis for clients in FinTech and banking markets. Performed AML investigations and compliance reviews in conjunction with several countries/regions.
