About

My career started with Cap Gemini as their top graduate in 1998 working on SAP R/2 to R/3 upgrades for various clients. I then joined Accenture and worked for nearly 3 years at British Gas implementing the UK's first Residential IS-U platform before deciding to switch to contract work, starting with a rollout of IDE Switch Messaging for Electrabel in Brussels and then back to British Gas. During my second stint at British Gas I was involved in various SAP upgrades and a full SAP CRM 7 implementation. I then worked for Basis Technologies at RWE nPower as part of the Billing Taskforce. I subsequently joined Basis Technologies as a fulltime Solution Consultant and implemented and upgraded their SAP Utilities Add-On 'BDEx' for various clients based in North America and the United Kingdom, which included a SAP Gateway project and exposure to SAP C4C. More recently I secured a contract for a Smart Metering rollout at ESB Networks in Dublin, Ireland.

Primary contribution: Business Workflow upgrades and enhancements and general Unicode compatibility. Assisted with the composition of new SAP OSS Notes to aid other clients with similar upgrades to existing Workflow definitions. Bespoke IS-U Exception framework ‘Customer-Centric Tool'. Primary contribution: SAP Gui design and layout development using ABAP Object principles. Features included dynamic Help Texts and multi-function navigation ALV Tree with context menu-driven user commands. Bespoke SAP Gui Inbox solution ‘Centrica Business Workplace' (before the Universal Worklist was developed by SAP) covering EMMA Cases, standard Work Items, IDoc errors and later enhanced to handle CRM Replication errors.
