I am interested in understanding how populations and species responded and some time adapted to changes in their environmental or ecological conditions. For that purpose, I am analyzing genome-wide patterns of variation within and between species to address fundamental questions in biology, anthropology, and medicine. I worked on a variety of organisms ranging from marine mammals, human, and domesticated plants to pathogens and mosquitoes. My focus is now primarily on mosquitoes. My research interest lies at the interface of ecology, evolutionary biology, computational biology, mathematical genetics.
