As Operational Manager at Moderna Textielservice/Elis, I am responsible for the Hospitality department. In addition, I manage two coordinators, a quality manager, ten team leaders and +/- 200 employees. Responsible for (operational) objectives and developing and improving processes. In addition, I supervise safety, productivity, customer satisfaction, sustainability, working atmosphere, quality, order and cleanliness and future prospects of the organization. For the past 2 years, I have mainly been working on improving the processes and structures using the LEAN SIX SIGMA method. This resulted, among other things, in an improvement in quality and efficiency, resulting in an improvement in the financial results.
As Process Manager at Moderna Textielservice I made the processes transparent and improved them with the aim of improving productivity and efficiency in the department. In addition, setting up the processes of the newly realized production hall and setting up new projects.
Responsible for all Crossdock and Warehouse operations at the head office of Oegema Transport in Dedemsvaart. Result-oriented management of +/- 90 employees. Advising the management on policy and strategic developments. Translating the company's objectives into changes in the department's policies and activities. Focusing on quality and the development of the company's products and promoting mutual cohesion.
Responsible for all Crossdock operations at the head office. Managing +/- 30 employees who carry out the Crossdock activities. Supervise the objectives, the daily activities and the improvement of the processes. In addition, supervision of the quality management system and its improvement and development.
Improving processes related to the implementation of fleet management and quality management. Also report to the Director of Operations and external auditors on any deviations from regular operations. In addition, developing your own skills and applying them in the organization.
Using research, literature, and knowledge gained during the Business Logistics program (Windesheim), a model was developed during this graduation project to determine the optimal layout of the external warehouse of Wavin Netherlands (location Hardenberg). By 'optimal' is meant: maximum utilization of the available space, optimal efficiency, and a clear and safe layout.
During this role, knowledge was gained in the logistics sector. This job was combined with the Logistics Management study at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences in Zwolle to combine practice with theory. The primary tasks of this role include: warehouse management, inventory management, distribution, and returns logistics within the recreational park.
Responsible for the sales process in the branch in Dedemsvaart. Co-responsible for the design of the store, placing orders, starting up and closing the store and managing the cash flows.
