Project/Bridge Engineer for Blooms Saint Paul bridge office. Worked on various Minnesota projects as well as providing remote design services for Blooms Milwaukee and Chicago offices. Succeeded in getting Bloom prequalified for bridge and roadway projects prior to Bloom loosing DBE status and making the strategic decision to close the Saint Paul office. A sample of projects includes the following: Alexander Hamilton Bridge, I-95 over the Harlem River Designed temporary steel support columns, transfer beams, trestle caps, braces, spreader beams, base plates and connections to support construction loads to allow rehabilitation of existing abutments and piers. Maryland State Highway Authority, InterCounty Connector, Design Engineer responsible for new ramp intersections for the reconstruction of Maryland State Highway 97 at the interchange with State Highway 200. Massachusetts Port Authority (MassPort). Central Artery 3rd Harbor Tunnel Inspection, Boston, Massachusetts. Inspected field conditions, repair plans and a final report for detailing all work, repairs to date, and recommendations for future work and maintenance to complete the transfer of ownership to the MassPort. Hennepin County DPW. Bridge No. 27B32, Responsible for preliminary and final prestressed beam design, and bridge plan preparation.
