As a digital nomad, I focus on what makes a successful remote culture that is intentional. Each team has its own quirks and I find and harness those to grow a successful team and organization.
As startups (or any other stage companies) scale, the software needs evolve. I work through those evolutions with the team taking a scrappy POC/MVP product to something that will create a foundation for rapidly growing user base, teams and product pipelines. This is done by evaluating technology choices both current and future, improving lifecycle processes, mentoring developers and incorporating standards and best practices. All to lay a foundation for future success.
Travelsighted.com is a platform that leverages travel influencers/creators’ content and makes it useful to Travelers while on the road. No longer needing to trust non-curated (or worse purchased) reviews, Travelers and tourists can see others' experiences and make decisions based on what they see. This was started after a few prototypes of my own when traveling to Europe. We took part in Y Combinator's Startup School and are Alumni. Feedback from peer group sessions was very positive. As we were about to get beta testers for customer feedback for select cities, now we are traveling to our launch cities, validating the sights and finding new ones. We currently have almost 5000 sights across 10 cities in the US and Europe. • Built the initial MVP of Travelsighted.com • Front end build in React.js, React Sagas, Redux. Leveraging functional components where possible. • Back-end APIs build using aspdotnet core 6 / C#, YouTube APIs and Places API, Google Sheets API • Built administration/curation portal to allow contractors to curate videos and capture details for the site • Build out of CI/CD Deployment Pipeline on MS Azure to allow for stage and production environments • Built out Azure data factory to propagate and transform curation data for the website. • Business development on identifying partners for our content network allowing them to self-manage their video, and location associations. • Built a product roadmap and Identified means of monetization in the future

Senior leadership role focused on building the system of work across the teams, mentoring developers and making sure we build a product that provides value every step along the way. • Ran day-to-day operations of product development • Was the bridge between the strong technical CTO and the Application Development Team • Managed Employee Life cycle at the organization for the Tech/Product Development group, including interviewing, hiring, on-boarding, dismissing of team members • Validated product requirements and design, handled product questions when the CPO/President was out of the office working on other responsibilities. • Flexible and responsive to the team's needs, making sure what we were doing had results, vs applying cookie cutter process changes.
• Worked remote with teams across different time zones from India to Europe • Worked on the Oracle Learning Cloud (OLC) product which is part of the larger Fusion Application Suite • Quickly grasped the features and limitations of the architecture and contributed to the application design despite never using JAVA or ORACLE ADF • Managed small development projects alongside my other workload • Developed a tool for integrating content from Coursera leveraging internal and external Rest APIs • Validated product requirements and design as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) • Designing and Prototyping 3rd Party Integrations with Virtual Meeting providers and Content Providers • Guided teams and provided input on architectural topics across multiple projects at once. Including a Recommendation Engine, Workflow Processing and Third party integrations. • Contributed to the application strategy and product road map, participating in prioritization, feature requirements and gap analysis
