Full responsibility of all primary production facilities of Air Liquide Benelux within the HYCO (Hydrogen & Carbon Monoxide production) and COGEN (cogeneration assets) product line of Air Liquide Large Industries.
Full responsibility of 5 production sites serving large clients such as Dow Chemicals, Shell, Covestro, Sabic with industrial gases (H2 (hydrogen), N2 (nitrogen), O2 (oxygen), CO (carbon monoxide), Ar (argon)), power and or steam - directly or via pipelines. Locations: Terneuzen, Pernis, Moerdijk, Bergen Op Zoom and Antwerp (Covestro).
In the nuclear power plant of Doel (Belgium), the maintenance activities on pumps and other mechanical rotating equimpents are performed by three different teams. Each team is responsible for different kind of pumps, with each different technologies and different purposes in the power station. The teams are composed of employees of Electrabel and external contractors. I am responsible for the three teams. The aim is to make sure all activities are executed following all rules applicable, as efficient as possible and the necessary verifications, imposed by the nuclear regulations, are executed. Technical issues on mechanical rotating equipments are to be examined by myself, with the support of the expertise of the teams and other colleagues. Next to these day to day responsibilities, I am also project leader of a number of large projects such as the replacement of qualified pumps by a new design, refurbishments of qualified pumps and so on.
