I am Chief Intellectual Property Counsel and Associate Group General Counsel at Travelers. I provide advice on a broad range of intellectual property issues and oversee the development and implementation of strategies for protecting and enforcing the company's intellectual property portfolio. Prior to joining Travelers, I spent more than 22 years in private practice, including 19 as an attorney at Day Pitney LLP. I represented business clients in trademark, trade secret, copyright, false advertising, right of publicity, covenant not to compete and domain name disputes, as well as disputes involving intellectual property development and licensing agreements. In addition to my trial practice, I also counseled clients on a variety of advertising and promotion matters, including the review of advertising for legal compliance, and on the maintenance, protection and enforcement of intellectual property.
