Aircraft Engineering Supervisor seeking New Challenge
• To work with and alongside Instructing and Developing RSAF personnel for the purpose of self-sustainability on Typhoon combat Aircraft for the Saudi Government. • Advise, Inspect, Scrutinize and Certify Maintenance activities carried out by Qualified RSAF Aircraft Engineers/Technicians. • Generate and complete work packages giving RSAF Technicians experience and qualifications to progress to the next level of Training or Rank within the Royal Saudi Air Force. • HIT team providing expert advice to Line members. Allowing swift recovery action on possible Faults on suspected U/S aircraft preventing Ground Aborts.
• Fault Investigation, Fault Diagnosis, Maintenance, Service, Repair, Breakdown Recovery and Modification of Class 08, 60, 66 and 67 Freight Locomotives in the UK. • Servicing, Recovery and Repairs of Class 66 and 77 Freight Locomotives in the French Fleet (ECR) Euro Cargo Rail. (PTS) Personal Track Safety Qualified. • 350 certified allowing me to sign, without supervision, Critical assets such as the Braking System, Radar, TPWS and AWS systems.
• Trial, Service, Maintain, Upgrade and Modify the Harrier and Typhoon Fleet using proactive, reactive and scheduled maintenance procedures. • Managing and scheduling work for a team of 30+ Technicians. Ensuring authorizations up to date, safe to work, Inspecting work carried out, signing off completed work and tasks for final certification. • Harrier Pegasus and Typhoon EJ200 ECU and APU runner. • Mechanical Technician covering PLC’s, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Fuel systems, Engine, Gearbox, Generators, Inspections, Airframe Repairs, Component Replacement including Electrical and Avionics. • Creation of work packages and Certificates to ground Aircraft being classed Not Air Worthy. I.A.W. CAA and MAA policies and to release aircraft back into service, Certifiying Air Worthy. • Joint Upgrade Maintenance Program in 2005 to upgrade to Gr9 CAP E Spec. New Engine, Weapons and Avionics Suite. Trialing, Analyzing data ensuring fit for purpose. Liaising with Design Authorities requesting changes to components, structure, routing of wires and pipes also maintenance procedures and engineering instructions. • Liaising with McDonnell Douglas and other overseas companies for authority to repair, replace faulty components and deviate from dedicated maintenance tasks. • LEAN, 6’s and 5’s team member, project developer and point of contact. • Continuous Improvement and HS team leader and single point of contact.
