It has always been a privilege to help bring groundbreaking science to patients, from my early days in medicine to launching medicines that reached patients worldwide. At BioNTech, I contributed to the company’s transformation from clinical-stage biotech to a global leader: co-leading the global commercial rollout of Comirnaty®, the first mRNA COVID-19 vaccine, building BioNTech’s global commercial organization as well as its first fully integrated country organization in Europe, and supporting the company’s successful Nasdaq IPO. Earlier national and international leadership positions at Takeda, Kite, Amgen and Novartis Oncology further deepened my expertise in oncology and cell and gene therapies. I continue to advise and invest in early-stage biotech ventures across oncology, immunology and longevity, supporting founders and teams who are shaping the next wave of innovation.
