A results driven leader with over 30 years of IT experience in the public and private sectors. Provide technology service delivery, administrative direction and oversight of critical support systems to the Office of Retirement Services. Develop and implement strategic approach for the agency, focusing on business needs, service level agreements and business plans. Oversaw the preparation, management and monitoring of a $6.5 million dollar budget and manage a diverse team of 50 technical professionals.
I manage the Application Support Team (AST) which consists of roughly 51 team members. AST maintains the Office of Retirement Services (ORS) CLARETY application for the State of Michigan (SOM). CLARETY is a web-based system that serves many subsystems, including employer and member self-services. AST is part of the State of Michigan Department of Technology Management and Budget (DTMB) and consists of four groups - Development, Operations, Configuration Management, and Testing. Operations supports all infrastructure for production, Development, and Disaster Recovery (DR)/Testing. The Configuration Management Team, controls the release and change management of the application. The Testing Team is responsible for the performance testing and the DR area. Development is responsible for the application code from requirement gathering through problem-solving.
Responsibile for the Part Counting software that was created and roilled out to several Plants in North America.
