Master’s in Music Industry. Design and facilitation of a workshop to help students define their professional direction in the music industry, reflect on career decisions, and prepare to navigate complex and uncertain professional environments. Their main event, Cruïlla Festival, has been present since 2005, offering the best of music and arts during Barcelona’s hot summer. BEM also develops various music festivals across Catalonia, together with a talent agency for music artists and comedians. BEM business has grown exponentially during the last few years and is now facing an expansion era that seeks better models of working. 🧑🎤 MY ROLE I help evolve a cross-functional organization of 40 professionals by implementing new ways of working that enhance their productivity and collaboration. The goal is to achieve better and faster results, aligned with the company's values. Driving a transformative journey to optimize operational online efficiency that impacts offline work. Leading the implementation of innovative strategies and leveraging project management tools like Monday.com and digital repository systems such as Google Workspace. Understanding and negotiating with multiple stakeholders. Actively defining and refining policies, conducting tailored training sessions, and adapting Agile methodologies to meet evolving team needs. 🥁 THE EVENT Cruïlla is one of the most important music festivals in Spain. With more than 10 editions, the festival received over 76,000 attendees in 2023. Cruïlla brings together the best music accompanied by visual art, performance, and comedy shows. Among this year’s artists were: Franz Ferdinand, The Offspring, Sigur Rós, Rubén Blades, Moderat or Rodrigo Cuevas. ♻️ THE LANDMARK This year’s edition celebrated a milestone achievement. Cruïlla is the first large-format festival in Spain supplied with 100% energy from electrical grid, thus eliminating generators that use fossil fuels and pollutants. 👨🏻🎤 MY ROLE ◉ In charge of leading and coordinating all digital technology deployment at the venue. ◉ In charge of implementing methodologies and tools to enable the whole organization to work seamlessly in the cloud. ◉ Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and the Head of Production. ◉ Handling an area budget above €150k. ◉ Directly managing a team of 4 people. ◉ Supervising the workflow of 100+ employees on-site. ◉ Ensuring cashless system fluency for transactions on-site (gross income over €2M). ◉ Supervising food & beverage digital transactions (over 25 restaurants and 15 bar areas). ◉ Overseeing ticketing platforms. ◉ Dealing and negotiating with technology suppliers. ◉ Assuring connectivity for more than 400 NFC cashless devices. ◉ Ensuring fluent access to the venue for all attendees.

We oversee all areas of event production, which ensures that less mistakes are made and every decision is undertaken with this comprehensive overview. We work with the best in our field, suppliers and contractors that appreciate our transparency and pro-active approach. Nothing is lost in communication between different departments. My role is helping the business on identifying the best ways on how to approach new clients with outstanding presentation skills. Finding the right strategy, working as a team and inspiring the founders with new possibilities. Clients include: Digital Future Society (Mobile World Capital), Treatwell, Art Directors Club of Europe (ADCE), Women in Mobile and Colvin, among others.
