Hi there, if you're new, welcome! 鉂わ笍 I'm Mia, a Digital Marketing professional with a love for content creation and branding. I'm often known for my approachable nature, and I thrive on helping others and collaborating within, or leading a team. My other passions lie in volunteering and I am a committed member of & County Media Officer for the Nottinghamshire Army Cadet Force, being an adult volunteer since March 2024 where I also take on a county-wide social media & website management role alongside my current job as a marketing administrator for Badgemaster Ltd. This adds a unique flair to both my work and personal life. 馃ゾ Currently, I'm also embarking on an educational journey, studying Business & Marketing at Manchester Metropolitan University, where I aspire to learn not only industry skills for business & marketing, but life experience & skills, by embracing new commitments such as the UOTC where I am currently training as an officer cadet. In essence, I'm an individual who aims to bring creativity, dedication, and is always looking for more, more, more! The world is my oyster, join me for the ride? 馃殌

The dynamic environment at Badgemaster has been fantastic for developing collaboration skills and has given me the opportunity to work with an external marketing agency. We've collaborated on things as big as Bargemaster's 2023 rebrand, to new campaigns, to general social media management.

I manage social media and handle aspects of Public Relations for C Battery which is a sub unit within Nottinghamshire Army Cadets UK, (including Bulwell, Hucknall, Eastwood, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Mansfield and Kirkby-in-Ashfield) which requires photography, videography, regular copywriting for news & updates and editing.
Proud to step into this exciting voluntary role as the County Media Officer for Nottinghamshire Army Cadet Force (Notts ACF), supporting one of the UK鈥檚 most inspiring youth organisations. This is a county-wide position responsible for managing and developing all digital and social media platforms, including our website and various recruitment-focused initiatives. My role involves working closely with all four units across Nottinghamshire, attending camps and events to capture high-quality photos and videos that showcase the incredible experiences, skills, and personal growth our cadets achieve. I'm also actively engaging with cadets and adult volunteers to gather stories, insights, and fresh content angles, helping to highlight the best of what Notts ACF has to offer to both current members and potential recruits. This opportunity allows me to combine a passion for digital storytelling with a commitment to community engagement, while helping to raise the profile of the Army Cadet Force and the amazing young people who are part of it.
As co-founder of OLMAA, I work alongside my brother to deliver results-driven digital marketing, tailored analytics, and internal software solutions for small brands and startups. We started OLMAA while both studying full-time at university, balancing jobs and student life with a shared passion for creative strategy, data-led thinking, and meaningful brand-building. At OLMAA, I focus on creating digital marketing strategies that are smart, affordable, and effective, always backed by insight, creativity, and a genuine desire to help brands grow with purpose. We specialise in helping small teams make big moves, without the fluff or inflated costs. Running OLMAA has allowed me to work hands-on with real clients, develop custom marketing tools, and gain practical experience juggling multiple projects, all while building something from the ground up that I truly believe in.
As Marketing Executive at Badgemaster, I worked closely withRob at PrimeTech Print while it was then operating under Badgemaster鈥檚 management. When PrimeTech Print became an independent company, I was honoured to be invited to continue supporting their marketing efforts on a freelance basis. Shortly after their transition to independence, I led a full brand refresh to help reposition the company for its next chapter. This included refining their visual identity and tone of voice to better reflect their values and market positioning. Currently, I manage PrimeTech Print鈥檚 social media presence and email database, focusing on customer engagement, brand consistency, and promotional activity. This role has not only deepened my marketing expertise but also given me valuable experience in managing my own workload and building long-term freelance relationships.
The cadet RSM, or WO1, is the 6th and highest rank you can achieve within the ACF, meaning I was responsible for the welfare, training, progression and enjoyment of all the young cadets, county wide, within Nottinghamshire ACF, working alongside adult volunteers who supported me in this role. I achieved this through my hard work, dedication, and passion towards the organisation and, more specifically, the younger cadets in it, prioritising the 'big-sister-role-model' role for those who needed that extra push. I loved every minuet of my time as a cadet RSM, and I was so honoured to be trusted with the responsibility, reputation and pressure that comes with the role, but by far the most enjoyable part was watching other young cadets grow and gain confidence the same way I did, and supporting them to help them create their own cadet story. If I could ask for one thing from the ACF, it's that all of my cadets turn out 100 times better than I did, again and again, and I would put them all on my shoulders to help them get there.
