In this role, I contribute to both digital and print editorial production for our bi-monthly publication, combining creativity with strategic content planning. - Social Media Management: Manage and schedule frequent, high-quality content across platforms using Meta Business Suite to drive engagement and brand consistency. - Email Marketing (EDMs): Design and distribute email campaigns through Mailchimp, aligning content with editorial themes and managing paid partnership integrations to meet client objectives. - Editorial Content Creation: Write and create a range of articles for print and digital platforms, including interviews, feature stories, and reviews. - Digital Content Management: Create engaging, SEO-optimised articles for the website and oversee the publishing process, from writing to backend uploads. This role allows me to combine my passion for storytelling with practical skills in media, content strategy, and digital publishing.
I stepped into the PR and fashion media industry through an internship with the team at Showroom 22, a leading agency in New Zealand’s fashion and lifestyle space. During this experience, I contributed to website admin, produced digital written content, and supported brand events. This allowed me to gain hands-on insight into the inner workings of PR, fashion communications, and the dynamic New Zealand fashion industry.
