A current student majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry at SUNY New Paltz, with a strong academic foundation in the sciences and a passion for healthcare. I’m actively working toward a career in the medical field, with a particular interest in optometry. My academic experiences have not only deepened my understanding of human biology and chemistry but have also strengthened my commitment to helping others through science-based care. Supported daily dining services for residents in an assisted living environment by preparing, plating, and serving meals in accordance with individualized dietary needs and nutrition plans. Ensured food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards were consistently met. Assisted residents during meals with patience and respect, promoting comfort, dignity, and a positive dining experience. Collaborated closely with kitchen and care staff to support resident health and well-being.

Shadowed Dr. Ramaswamy and the orthodontic team to gain firsthand exposure to clinical practices and patient care in orthodontics. Observed treatment planning, consultations, and adjustments, while learning about the importance of patient communication and dental technology. Developed a deeper understanding of orthodontic procedures, office workflow, and the role of teamwork in delivering quality care.
Worked with five year old girls for a seasonal position. Recognized and accommodated the diverse needs and personalities of each camper, ensuring everyone felt included and valued. Built strong relationships with the campers, encouraging their social skills and helping them to express themselves confidently in a group setting. Deepened my passion for working with children and my skills in leadership, communication, and creative problem-solving, all while making a positive impact on the lives of young girls during their summer break.
