Scientist and bioengineer with 8+ years of experience (post PhD) in translational cardiovascular research and ability to lead multi-disciplinary research programs, foster clinical collaborations, and mentor junior scientists. Research is focused on developing cardiovascular therapeutics with experience in drug development pipeline, from target ID to small and large animal efficacy studies. Technical expertise in ex vivo and in vivo models of cardiovascular disease, cardiac physiology, human stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes, and tissue engineering.
