While, I - Mentor have a bachelor degree in Mathematics for Computer Sciences and a master degree in Software Engineering and ive been working as a software engineer for the past 10 years now.
Responsible for adding new features, automating different processes, fixing bugs on 20+ repositories that Kicksta had on 4 products.
Responsible on planning, managing and organizing all phases of developing these products: - IEDGAR / it is used to prepare registration statements, periodic reports, and other forms to be reported to the SEC by companies. App is developed on B2B business model. - HR App / It is used to manage employee's absences, payroll, feedback, performance reviews etc. Technologies that i used here are: PHP, Laravel, MySQL, Ruby, Rails, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, ReactJS etc.
Responsible for the whole product, i worked here as a software engineer using these technologies: PHP, CakePHP, Laravel, MySQL, Javascript, Jquery, VueJS, ReactJS, EmberJS etc. During my time here i have managed to convert application from monolithic to microservices and besides backend also developed spa-s for each module. This resulted on having an application which way more easier to be maintained and also performance and UX was totally transformed for better. Besides this i have fixed all sorts of issues/bugs that application had before in different components.
