I am a widely experienced Data Center Operations Manager, having worked at different organisations such as Financial, Government and Commercial environments. I have managed a lot of locations, varying from the local IT area to the Corporate Data Center. Even though the difference in size and procedures vary, the impact of an issue may not. The smallest environments can have the biggest impact and my challenge lies in managing these locations in the best possible way. I have broad experience with the processes related to Data Center Management. From Access Management, Environmental Management to Life Cycle Management and Asset Management. I have set up DCIM's, new Environmental Monitoring programs, Risk Registers and have been involved in all parts of the ITIL framework. Working on a data center is a wide and specialized, detailed job, which should be done via specific processes and procedures at all times. With my experience, I'm able finetune, or implement these procedures, to make sure the business can proceed without interruption.

Including regional services hosted in our datacenters, and providing services and support with and through my team throughout all Amgen locations, worldwide, in all different trades. Maintaining >50 global sites, from Breda. Responsible for the daily activities on all sites, and coordinating incidents, projects and changes on all the sites. Providing on-site support in the Netherlands, and coordinating third party vendors for remote locations. Collaborating in project-groups for new datacenters designs in all sizes, new technologies and implementations. Acting as liaison for the business, making the connection to the world of IT for them.
