The Randstad, Netherlands
I’m passionate about helping organizations strengthen their digital resilience. In my role, I lead the strategic and operational direction of our security services, ensuring that institutions across the Dutch education and research sector have access to robust, scalable, and future-proof security solutions. My background in program management and security operations has taught me how to turn complex challenges into workable, sustainable solutions. Since 2008, I’ve had the privilege of leading multidisciplinary teams across different industries and environments where I learned the value of collaboration, clarity, and shared purpose in driving change. Over the years, I’ve been closely involved in building and maturing several Security Operations Centers (SOCs). For me, it’s not just about technology — it’s about people, processes, and continuous growth. A strong SOC thrives when technical excellence is combined with a learning mindset and a clear sense of mission. It is our goal to ensure we’re not only addressing today’s threats but also preparing for what’s next. By using intelligence and data to deliver meaningful insights, we aim to help organizations see where they’re vulnerable and how they can stay resilient in an ever-changing landscape.
As Managing Director, I lead the organization in providing comprehensive managed security services to the Dutch Education and Research institutions (SURF IT cooperative). My role focuses on driving strategic growth, team leadership and ensuring operational excellence. Through this approach, I aim to strengthen the digital resilience of educational and research institutions while driving continuous improvement and innovation in the delivery of managed security services.
