• Serve as an affiliate training facilitator for The Support Center, Good Shepherd Services, and HollaBack • Serve as an Empowered Career Development Coach for Mind Open Learning Strategies • Provide consultation and training services to social change agents to transform ideas to reality • Deliver customized trainings in Project Management and Time Management for social change organizations • Provide technical assistance and support to organizations working on special projects and events • Offer project management tools to help cut cost, empower staff, and create social change
• Manage the delivery of the Leading with Conviction and Emerging Leaders trainings and its activities • Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of New York based and national leadership trainings • Develop annual budget and operating plan to support all leadership trainings • Coordinate all logistics for events, local and national trainings, including recruitment, registration, attendee tracking, presentations, and evaluations • Collaborate with partners, vendors, volunteers, and staff to ensure all trainings meet JLUSA standards
• Direct and guide four academic and community engagement fellowship programs at the Prisoner Reentry Institute for undergraduate and graduate students interested in youth justice, policy & advocacy, and philanthropy • Supervise, coach, and support all staff assigned to fellowship programs • Oversee and manage grant budgets and provide regular updates and reports to all funders • Design and lead professional development to increase community-based supervisors understanding and expertise in the fellowship programs and supervision styles • Represent Fellowship Initiatives at campus and community partner meetings • Participate in the recruitment, evaluation, and selection process for fellows and partner organizations • Plan and organize two annual half-day conferences • Prepare and organize annual end-of-year completion event • Promote and advocate for increased partnerships on and off campus • Provide academic and career support and opportunities for students and alumni
• Earned a promotion from Program Coordinator to Director within two years • Designed, launched, and managed a youth justice counseling fellowship program for Graduate students • Developed a robust outreach and recruitment plan to recruit students, which tripled the number of applicants over two years and increased retention by implementing a “wait list” Coordinated and organized two annual symposia, which convened practitioners, policy makers, academics, and government officials at John Jay College • Expanded the initiative to include alumni services, which will include consultation with an employment coach, implementation of the Salesforce database, and provision of an “opportunity grant” available for alumni to fund professional opportunities (e.g professional attire)
