About

Through my internship experience, I discovered my interest in structural engineering. One of my favorite parts about it is witnessing visual progress as a project gets closer to completion. I want to make a difference in my professional life within the industry, specifically in the community around me. Working on local projects allows me to directly see the impact I am making on those that live nearby. Collaboration is one of my core strengths, and I recognize that working in groups allows all the best ideas to come to fruition for the strongest outcome. Hearing new perspectives is interesting to me. I have an appreciation for nature and enjoy being outside. I connect this to engineering since it is important to me to find the balance between development and preserving wildlife and their habitat. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and baking, especially when I do it for friends or family. In addition, reading broadens my knowledge of the world or simply entertains me. While I am highly passionate about the work I do, a work-life balance is crucial to prevent burnout. I maintain this lifestyle by setting aside time for my hobbies amongst my busyness.
