About

I am passionate about fostering musical excellence and inspiring others through the transformative power of music. Music and the arts provides educators and students with unique ways of knowing, doing, and being in the world. With a background in classical, contemporary, and historical music performance, I've honed my craft in diverse settings, from solo to pop band, ensemble, and orchestral performances. My journey in music education has equipped me with tools to nurture and cultivate a deep curiosity and appreciation for music in students of all ages. My thirst for continuing to discover and improve music education also drives me to generate new knowledge through research.
