•Responsible for monitoring, researching, and analyzing problems associated with the electronic transmissions of arrest records. •Provide consultation to submitting law enforcement agencies regarding transmission and reporting problems. •Thorough knowledge of the criminal and applicant fingerprint processes, California criminal justice system, bureau policies and procedures, and the capabilities of the various data management systems within the Department of Justice. •Prepare and maintain monthly utilization reports for the program, assists in the development of training manuals, and performs one-on-one training of new or existing staff.
•Review California and out-of-state CURES prescriber and dispenser applications for the Controlled Substance Utilization and Evaluation System. •Verify healthcare provider information via various data management systems. •Provide telephone and email assistance to medical and pharmaceutical professionals, and law enforcement with questions and difficulties regarding access to the CURES system, registration and CURES report creation. Apply applicable unit procedures, laws, rules and regulations. •Assist with system access issues. •Triage emails from queue to all helpdesk employees throughout the day. •Train new personnel as well as develop and update training material. •Update program stats on a daily/weekly basis. •Daily use of computer systems such as Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
•Guide customers through online portal to manage account, make payments, and submit paperwork. •Respond to inquiries including but not limited to questions and concerns regarding customer's payroll tax accounts, general classification information, and tax law. •Independently complete supporting paperwork and data entry as required. •Handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. •Accurately record customer information. •Transfer and locate payments and work with delinquent correspondence. •Tactfully handle confrontational and stressful interactions with the public. •Work in compliance with insurance codes, tax laws and data management databases such as Accounting & Compliance Enterprise System; Client Work Manager; Virtual Call Center.
