Environmental planning is about more than compliance—it's about helping communities, agencies, and developers make informed decisions that balance growth, infrastructure needs, and environmental stewardship. For more than 25 years, I've helped clients navigate the complexities of CEQA and NEPA while advancing projects ranging from simple, straightforward projects to complex, controversial, and large-scale developments and program initiatives. As a Senior Project Manager and Environmental Planning Leader at Michael Baker International, I lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee project delivery, mentor staff, and support the continued growth of our Planning practice. I enjoy solving complex environmental challenges, building strong client relationships, and helping projects move forward through practical, defensible environmental strategies. Equally important to me is supporting the next generation of planners through mentorship, professional development, and leadership opportunities. Although I am not currently serving on a board, I stay actively involved in the California Association of Environmental Professionals (AEP), supporting the organization through volunteer efforts and ongoing engagement with industry colleagues. Whether working with public agencies, private developers, regulatory stakeholders, or project teams, my goal is simple: deliver high-quality environmental solutions that help clients succeed and communities thrive.
