Software Engineer working on the Facebook Android app. Currently, I work on improvements to the infrastructure that handles the updating & downloading of Facebook Family Apps on Android (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, etc). I worked on the Rectangular UI for Facebook Stories, increasing Stories Daily Producers (SDP) by +1.45 million. I also drove adoption of an internal technology for injecting CTAs into News Feed, contributing +400K SDP I helped redesign the Inline Composer, adding +0.17% original broadcast posts. I also proposed and implemented Timeline feature that provided +0.11% incremental original broadcast posts. Our team goal at this time was a +1.0% increase over 6 months. I've worked on iterating and improving the scroll performance and UI of Stories Trays in News Feed, as well as orchestrating and contributing to a migration of a part of our codebase from native Android code to Litho Framework, resulting in -13.2 ms startup time and -0.79% reduction in Foreground App Deaths.
