Hello, I'm Melih Şahinkesen. I work in the Information Technology field and focus on aligning technology with company goals. For me, this role is not only about keeping systems running, but also about understanding needs correctly, improving processes, and making work more efficient. I analyze the needs of different departments, identify development opportunities, and turn them into practical technology solutions. I give importance to team participation in planning processes and shape decisions with common sense. Because I believe sustainable transformation is possible not only with technology, but also with good communication and a solid structure. I started my career in design and user interface development. This background taught me to pay attention to details, understand users, and think in a structured way. Over time, my journey moved from technical production to team management and strategic planning. I have worked on projects of different sizes both inside companies and in external projects. These experiences helped me see different ways of working and develop a system-building mindset. I strongly believe that nothing is impossible. Every problem has a solution; the important thing is asking the right question and finding the right approach. My goal is to position technology not only as a support function, but as a strategic power that supports business growth and long-term development.
After being promoted to this position, I built my own IT team and identified the company’s IT needs. I planned solutions and developed projects for these needs. After completing the priority tasks, I replanned and developed all necessary outsourced software in-house to eliminate the company’s dependency on external providers. This eliminated our reliance on outsourced software providers, reduced costs, and maximized workflow efficiency. I analyzed the performance and usability of the developed products and planned updates focused on improving user experience. I also identified the company’s hardware needs, ensuring that all equipment remained up-to-date and efficient. Additionally, I regularly informed management and employees about updates and improvements. I managed the department’s work schedule, monitoring and evaluating ongoing processes. By conducting competitor analysis, I planned updates to ensure our company stayed one step ahead. I also recruited new team members, coached them, and supported their professional development.
Since its establishment, I have been involved in creating the company's corporate identity, designing and developing the website interface, developing the interfaces of the software used, and setting up and managing social media channels. I have also managed the planning, design, and follow-up processes for digital and print content based on needs.
I was tasked with designing the interface design of the be renewed application of company. I conducted the approval processes of all designs with our United Kingdom company officials. In addition, I designed and coded the interface for the entire navigation menu of the application.
I was doing the required interface module designs for the company's website, design of needed all kinds of images on the website, hotel photos revisions, portal interface development of company, social media accounts management, all needed printed work designs, printing process follow-up and hotel video edits in the company. In addition, I was responsible for the construction, management and updating of more than 300 websites prepared for promotional purposes.
I was doing web interface designs, corporate identity designs, presentation works within the scope of the projects that the company received from outside. I also was doing website revise of the company, payment interfaces design, photo shoots, graphic design needs of the employees within the company.
