Inspired by Mexican Feminist and Transgender social movements, my commitments aim to disrupt harmful gender norms, build connected communities, and restructure mental health systems to better support Trans and Nonbinary people of diverse backgrounds. Currently, I am completing my clinical psychology training at Toronto Metropolitan University with a focus on critical psychology and pedagogy to improve the education that mental health trainees receive about transgender health. To this work, I bring my background in education (M.Ed.) and psychology (B.Sc.H) from Queen's University.
