    I joined UnitedHealth Group at the launch of its new Shared Service model. This unique opportunity gave me the chance to play a key role in developing our processes and policies across multiple countries. This role sits within a HR Service Centre delivering a broad range of HR services across the EMEA region. Delivering Cultural Awareness & Diversity sessions to the HR teams Assist with employee relations issues; discipline and grievance, performance management, absence management and redundancy activity Compensation and benefit administration Subject matter expert contributor to process improvements projects Promoting Manager and Employee Self-Service via HRIS system (Peoplesoft) Advise managers and staff on the interpretation and application of HR policies and processes Interviewing for support HR staff roles Administer end to end employee lifecycle transactional processes, including joiners, movers, leavers, pay changes, special leave types Manage maternity process and family friendly queries and requests Provide reporting as required and act as a central point of contact for all HR Related employee communications Ensuring that payroll is correctly informed new starters and life cycle changes Deliver training to the Shared Service team and wider HR colleagues. Act as employee champion for Employee Relations issues. This involves working closely with Employee Relations experts in resolution of queries and management of junior cases.
