  • CEO at DanLser A/S
    Apr 1988 - Sep 1992 · 4 yrs 6 mos

Drew up the business plan and built-up the company by recognising unrealised market potential and putting opportunities in the right perspective. I developed strategic thrusts and kept the marketing program consistently effective in all markets. Created and supported a common global brand backed by an effective communication mix of elements and proactive global brand management. I was the architect who built the company from the ground up, researched, planned, anticipated, probed, listened, informed, decided on appropriate cut-offs, managed and resolved conflicts in an R&D team of 12 electrical, mechanical, optical and software engineers. Developed two patented technologies into multiple products in cooperation with DIA and IPU (Institute for Product Development at the Technical University of Denmark). Raised funds from a variety of sources including Carlsberg and Tom’s Chocolates. Personally took part in a large number of congresses and negotiated sales with technology customers in Europe, USA, Canada and Japan ensuring that both place and product were in balance.
