BAKAD Ring Road EPC Project was started in 2019 , completed on 16 th of June 2023 and opened to the traffic. BAKAD / Big Almaty Ring Road EPC Project is Kazakhstan's 1st major PPP/ Public Private Partnership Project. It's designed as a 66 km long ring road through Karasay and Talgar regions of the province of Almaty. A 14.5 km long section of the road is designed with 4 lanes and 51.5 km section with 6 lanes. In the scope of the project, there are 19 bridges , 7 overpasses, 7 underpasses, 6 interchanges and 108 culverts. Additionally, a road traffic control center, 125 closed circuit television cameras and 14 km of Noise Barriers exist in the Bakad Road. This Ring Road Project will reduce air pollution and traffic waiting time and congestion in Almaty province, reduce traffic accidents and contribute substantially to the economy of Kazakhstan.
Quality Management of Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir Motorway Construction Project and Osmangazi Suspended Bridge (The Project completed and total route opened to traffic on August 4th of 2019) Main EPC Contractor /Consortium of Nurol,Özaltın,Makyol,Astaldi,Yüksel,Göçay Co Motorway Construction Project details: • 9.5 billion of USD Project, of 408 km of Motorway and World 4th longest suspended bridge over the Izmit Bay 2.6 km,. • 3 Tunnels Construction as of 3.7 km + 1.0 km + 1.5 km = 6.2 km x 2 • 35 Concrete Viaducts as total 19km. • 2 Steel Composite Viaducts as of 1.6 km, joining with suspended bridge on North ( ~ 300 m, Concrete Deck, Steel Beams over Concrete Piers and Concrete Foundation) and South (~ 1300 m, Steel Deck, Steel Piers and Concrete Foundation) • 84 Bridge as of 11 km. • Excavation as of 150.000.000 m3, Fill as of 145.000.000m3. • Pavement Course ( Mechanical Stabilized Subbase and Base Layers ) as 20.000.000 tons, • Asfalt Course ( Bituminous Base Course + Binder Course as of 6.750.000 tons / Wearing Course as SMA as1.900.000 tns ) • Responsible for the implementation of the Quality Management system in all engineering structures of the Project in acc. with the EPC Project Specifications. Scope of Work: • Establishing and having implementation of ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System in the company and in the project overall with all requirements. • Checking and creating Quality Control Team and its activities in the context of project contract, specifications and related national and international standards, method statements and relevant ITP’s. • Organizing and realizing of regular internal and external audits on the base of scheduled program in the project as the owner companies Quality Top Responsible Person. • Ensuring the compliance of all project structures to the design requirements and by means of this, realizing and validation of motorway & suspended bridge engineering structure having mitigated unforeseen detrimental effects.
Quality Management of Reconstruction and Redevelopment of Pulkovo Airport Phase 1 Project IC-Astaldi JV. ( From Astaldi Part ) • Responsible for the implementation of the Quality Management system in all sections of the project in accordance with the Quality Management System. • Arranges, confirms correspondences with the Employer and third parties regarding the Quality Assurance and Quality Control and supports. • Prepares Quality Management Procedures by sticking to the rules of the Policy of the Ictas-Astaldi. • Performs Internal Audits regarding Management Systems to verify that the Quality is in accordance with the joint venture policy, local laws and regulations, ISO 9001and assists “Certification Institution” and/or third parties in all necessary external audits. • Confirms that the achieves of the other departments in the project are managed in line with the requirements of the quality assurance management system. • Coordinates and manages the technical documents (quality control procedures, quality control plans, correspondences, evaluations etc) produced by Quality Department, to be accurately prepared and distributed to site. • Prepares the Quality Control Plans and ensures to be fully implemented. • Ensures that the Quality related procedures are implemented by the sections/personnel of the project and monitors the implementation. • During the project, takes pioneering role in taking decisions for the development or improvement of the quality, in making evaluations and in execution of the regulations.
Quality Management of DISI Water Conveyance Project Gama Power Systems Co. • 55 Well drilling (Each 600 m depths ) and Water Pipeline Project. • EPC Project.Bid: 1.000.000.000 USD. • Responsible for quality aspects of the construction of all Project Structures. • Drilling of water wells with 500-600 m depth, total of 55 wells. • 350 km of Water Steel Carbon Pipeline. ( 1.4m to 1.6m diameter carbon Steel API 5 L Class and 300 mm to 10000 mm diameter ductile iron ). • Development of ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System for pipe laying, Concrete Structures, welding activities, trench excavation and protection, epoxy painting of inside and outside of pipes and radiographic and ultrasonic testing of pipe welds. • Organizing and functioning of scheduled internal and external audits on the base of planned program along the project as the main EPC Contractor Quality Assurance Manager. • Preparation of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Procedures and supervisions and their implementation at the by forming Quality Assurance and Quality Control team of the EPC Contractor.
