Act as the primary advisor for our headquarter office in Germany, providing insights and direction on Turkey's market strategy. Report directly to the Board, underscoring the pivotal role of this position within the organization. Oversee the company's gas and power trading activities, ensuring profitability and alignment with broader organizational goals. Architected and managed the organizational structure for the Procurement and Trading Directorate, streamlining operations and fostering collaboration. Successfully negotiated and managed gas and power contracts ranging from 25 to 30 Twh/year, demonstrating a high degree of expertise in contract management.
Established the Portfolio Management Department, contributing to the broader formation of company organization and process structures. Spearheaded the creation and ongoing management of electricity and natural gas portfolios. Led both national and international natural gas contract discussions, showcasing a blend of local insight and global perspective. Managed end-to-end operations spanning the company's electricity and natural gas supply, storage, and trading processes. Maintained a direct line of report to our headquarter in Germany, ensuring alignment with global objectives. Successfully managed Turkey's largest gas wholesale portfolio, emphasizing efficiency and market dynamics.
