For more than 25 years, I have worked at the intersection of business and social impact, leading and advising on human rights, sustainability and responsible business initiatives across global supply chains. My experience has taken me from factory floors and supplier communities to boardrooms and international partnerships across Asia, Europe and the US. I have led global teams, shaped strategy and worked with businesses, governments, NGOs and industry initiatives to address issues ranging from responsible sourcing and worker wellbeing to governance and organisational change. Over the years, I have become increasingly convinced that no single organisation can solve today's social challenges alone. I have found that the most meaningful progress often happens when people with different perspectives are willing to partner and work together towards a common goal and that belief continues to shape the way I work. Today, my work and interests increasingly span responsible business, stronger global supply chains, strategic philanthropy and initiatives that advance gender equity. I am particularly drawn to opportunities that combine long-term thinking with practical action and bring together different perspectives to create meaningful and lasting change.
Led VF Corporation's global factory compliance function, bringing a more strategic, risk-based approach to responsible business and human rights across the global value chain. • Shaped the long-term direction of the global factory compliance programme, strengthening oversight of supply chain risks while supporting improved working conditions. • Modernised the company's audit framework, introducing more consistent methodologies, tools and global protocols to improve insight and decision-making across regions. • Partnered with senior leadership to embed responsible sourcing and human rights considerations into broader business priorities and strategic decision-making. • Led a diverse global team, creating an environment that balanced strong delivery with collaboration, continuous learning and individual growth. • Served as a strategic advisor on supply chain traceability and product mapping initiatives, strengthening upstream visibility and helping identify salient risks across multiple tiers of suppliers. • Established and led executive reporting to the Audit Committee and senior leadership, providing clear visibility of programme performance, emerging risks and strategic priorities.
Built Williams-Sonoma's responsible sourcing and worker well being programme from the ground up, developing the strategy, governance and organisational capability needed to support responsible business across the company's global supply chain. • Led the development of key policies, standards and governance processes, audit tools and embedding responsible sourcing into business operations and decision-making. • Recruited and developed the responsible sourcing and compliance team, creating a collaborative culture that encouraged learning, ownership and professional growth. • Built trusted relationships with suppliers, NGOs and industry initiatives, representing Williams-Sonoma externally and contributing to collaborative approaches to shared supply chain challenges. • Worked closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to integrate responsible sourcing into broader business priorities and organisational decision-making.
Supported the development and execution of HER finance pilot in India. HERfinance is BSR’s signature offering aiming to empower workers through provision of basic financial literacy to workers in global supply chains.
Joined the Nike Foundation's senior leadership team during a period of growth and expansion, helping shape organisational strategy while strengthening the planning, governance and operating structures needed to support its mission. • Led the planning and set-up of the Foundation's offices in Rwanda, Nigeria and Ethiopia, working closely with country leadership to put in place the systems, planning processes and governance needed to support their long-term success. • Partnered with senior leadership to refine the Foundation's mission, strategic direction and organisational priorities, translating them into clear plans, goals and deliverables. • Contributed to the cross-functional team that developed and executed Girl Effect, supporting its early growth and implementation across Africa. • Developed organisational performance measures and led reporting to the Board and senior leadership, strengthening planning, accountability and organisational decision-making.
Joined the Nike Foundation in a broad finance, governance and strategic planning role, working across organisational priorities in a highly entrepreneurial environment and supporting the Foundation's mission to empower adolescent girls. • Led the team responsible for financial planning and management, overseeing budgeting, financial analysis and long-term planning to support organisational priorities and decision-making. • Partnered with programme leadership on investment planning and portfolio management, developing tools and processes to strengthen planning, accountability and track progress against organisational goals. • Led the Foundation's grantee due diligence and compliance processes, overseeing audits and supporting remediation in line with the Foundation's code of conduct. • Worked closely with Nike Inc.'s social responsibility, government affairs and stakeholder engagement teams to develop and implement an integration plan that leveraged the company's broader resources in support of the Foundation's mission. • Coordinated Board meetings and reporting processes, helping ensure effective governance and informed decision-making as the Foundation continued to grow.
Led Nike's labour and environmental compliance programme across India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan, working with factory partners to strengthen working conditions and manage supply chain risk across the region. • Led a regional team responsible for factory monitoring, remediation and capacity-building initiatives across more than 50 regional supplier factories. • Managed complex factory issues and crisis situations, working closely with business partners, suppliers and other stakeholders to identify practical solutions and mitigate risk. • Reported on regional performance, budgets and factory ratings, providing business leaders with insights on programme progress and emerging priorities. • Selected as part of a six-member global team to develop and pilot a new factory auditing and reporting tool, improving visibility of factory conditions and supporting more informed business decision-making.
