My focus as an Instructional Designer centers on revolutionizing adult education through cutting-edge E-Learning methodologies. The role involves a dynamic collaboration with project teams, tailoring curricula for diverse learning models and ensuring that educational content aligns with the institution's mission. Previously, as a Zoom Virtual Producer, I honed skills in facilitating online development sessions that fostered inclusive and engaging environments across various time zones. The expertise in eLearning rapid authoring tools and a strong background in course development and design now drive my commitment to creating interactive, impactful learning experiences.
• Supported by the Money Follows the Person Grant. • Collaborates with project teams, conduct research of curricula to determine what materials, resources and innovations should be added, revised, or adapted to meet new learning models. • Develops/redesigns curricula suitable for Direct Support Professionals and Support Coordinators. • Prepares curriculum materials (i.e., handouts, reading materials, videos, presentations) in multiple variations, for traditional to hybrid classrooms with Boggs Center Training teams. • Collaborates with Boggs Center training teams and external consultants to develop curricula that ensures work is consistent with the mission and goals of the project. • Utilizes one or more eLearning rapid authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.) as well as video and audio editing tools (e.g., Premiere, Audition, Animate, After Effects, etc.), to create curriculum content. • Produces, tests, and troubleshoot SCORM compliant materials, coordinating with learning management system developers as needed.
• Supported session hosts to facilitate online professional development sessions for managerial staff of Medline and Rust-Oleum. These sessions are between 12 to 30 participants located in all United States time zones. • Fostered a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere to encourage participation. • Assigned participants to breakout rooms using Zoom's functionalities while communicating clear instructions and guidelines for those activities. • Monitored breakout sessions to ensure discussions stay on track and time. • Addressed technical issues or questions that arise during the session. • Facilitated smooth transitions between main sessions and breakout rooms. • Gathered and communicated feedback from sessions for continuous improvement.
March 2023 – June 2024 • Demonstrated success in updating annual compliance training. • Produced 10 modules for MDFIT, a scheduling system program with the Regional Manager of Patient Access. • Developed de-escalation training for risk management department. • Implements recorded meetings and learning sessions into storyline for LMS for employee accessibility.
• Developed and designed adult education eLearning while working besides the Associate Director of Training, Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement. • Consulted with SMEs to identify audience needs for each training. • Created job aids which coincide with training launches. Samples of the job aids include: Password reset, how to access learning content for paths/courses/checklists, and access user training history. • Administrated Paycom (LMS) to maintain and assign training content for over 2,000 employees in Pennsylvania, Florida, New York, and New Jersey. • Supervised the independent contractor for ‘Patient Access Specialty’ project. • Created videos using the Vyond program. Examples include: A Day in the Life video which is displayed to interviewing Patient Access candidates and Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion videos for eLearning. In addition, provided voiceovers to training content and videos as needed.
• Collaborated with Instructional Systems Designer to design the annual compliance training, which included courses, paths, documents and checklists. • Developed workflow trainings for eClinical Works such as Front Desk, and Surgery Scheduling, Ongoing and Onboarding Employees. These trainings include demos, simulations and assessments for the end user.
• Created high-quality animations for the Privacy Pam training program via Adobe Animate. • Produced storyboards to illustrate voiceover, visuals and actions to SMEs, directors, animators, and technical staff. • Understood feedback and delivered revisions of the expected quality within the assigned time frame. • Edited audio and synced mouth movements from voiceover artist to main characters.
