Hello, I am a recent Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) graduate from the University of Florida with a strong foundation in clinical knowledge, hands on experience, and evidence based therapeutic interventions. I am passionate about helping patients achieve their highest level of function and independence. My primary professional interest is advancing my knowledge and skills in neurological rehabilitation while continuing to develop my expertise in orthopedic physical therapy. Throughout DPT school, I intentionally pursued a diverse range of clinical rotations to build a well rounded skill set, gaining experience in outpatient orthopedics, outpatient neurorehabilitation, outpatient pediatrics, and acute rehabilitation. In addition to my clinical education, I worked as both a rehabilitation aide, F45 fitness coach and a UF DPT functional anatomy teaching assistant throughout the three year program. Prior to earning my DPT, I received a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from UAH and a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from KSU. Between graduate programs, I worked as an office coordinator and physical therapy technician in an outpatient orthopedic clinic, further strengthening my understanding of patient care and clinic operations.
