Megan May Nelson

Co-director & Senior Producer at ReWild · Impact storytelling for climate, conservation & community development

Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa

About

I grew up on a game reserve near Kruger, with a wildlife filmmaker for a father - which probably explains how I ended up doing this work. Before ReWild, I worked at WildEarth as an assistant director on SafariLIVE, a live wildlife broadcast streamed daily to millions of viewers across TV and YouTube. At ReWild - I direct, produce and edit documentary films and campaign content for BBC StoryWorks, WWF, GIZ, Blue Ventures, and a range of NGOs and development organisations working across conservation, climate, and community storytelling. Based in Cape Town - available for productions across Africa and beyond!
