Singapore
Hello! I’m Megan, a Community Development student with a strong interest in social sustainability. I am deeply passionate about community leadership and fostering meaningful engagement across diverse age groups, from youth to seniors. Professionally, I have experience working across the people, private, and public sectors, with a primary focus on community engagement, development, and sustainability initiatives. My passion project is Let’s Go Man!, a senior social isolation intervention programme under TOUCH Community Services. The initiative currently serves over 120 senior men across multiple heartland communities in Singapore. I am always open to new opportunities for growth and collaboration. Feel free to connect!
Co-managing Ecosystem Mapping & Strategic Planning
Develop and strengthen strategic collaborations with external stakeholders, including educational institutions, youth organisations, NGOs, government agencies, and corporate partners, to advance AYO Singapore’s initiatives in youth empowerment, education, and ASEAN awareness.
Supported youth development initiatives at National Youth Council by developing programmes that created safe spaces for youths to exchange perspectives and discuss key issues with peers, civil society, and government stakeholders. Managed leadership ecosystems such as INSPIRIT and Holler!, leveraged Salesforce CRM systems to identify youths for growth opportunities, and prepared event materials for events & ministerial engagements. Some programmes include: - Mental Health Resilience with National Mental Health Office (NMHO) - Dialogue on Drugs and Kpods with Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth - Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) with Enterprise Singapore and Wavesparks - Our Singapore Leadership Programme for Young Working Adults
Facilitated icebreakers and discussions to build collaboration and critical thinking, while mentoring students in entrepreneurship, market research, financial planning, and presentation skills.
