M.Sc. Degree in Water Resources Management. More than 39 years’ professional experience as Senior Project Manager, Team Leader and Consultant Specialist of development and rehabilitation projects in the field of water resources management, sanitation, irrigation, drainage, flood management and agricultural development. Major duties include project design and planning, resource allocation, project mobilization and inception, budgeting, personnel and financial management, monitoring & evaluation and reporting. Hands-on experience with institutional development and strengthening, policy development, capacity building, training of counterpart staff, procurement of goods and services, construction supervision, the use of result frameworks as planning tool, monitoring and evaluation. Ample experience in directing and coordinating the input of multi-disciplinary long and short-term consultants in a multi-cultural setting. Familiar with procurement, project management, procurement, M&E guidelines, policy safeguards (environment, resettlement, gender, pro-poor) of the major multilateral donor agencies like the ADB and WB.

      Indonesia: Urban Sanitation Development Program – 2 Client: National Planning Agency (Bappenas) / Royal Netherlands Embassy, Jakarta Main project features: Consultancy service (Euro 6.5 Mill) designed to support the Government of Indonesia with the implementation of a nation-wide Acceleration of Sanitation Development Program with focus on providing hands-on support in 90 cities/districts accelerating the implementation of sanitation development (‘from planning to implementation) and the establishment of sustainable sanitation services in 54 cities/districts in 9 provinces countrywide.
