Working closely with the families as a Caregiver and Consultant I could feel how much frustration, stress, confusion and fear is involved. I have been working with people who developed different health issues like Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, Heart Failure and some of them were in need of a 24/7 Home Oxygen therapy, Physiotherapy or a Post Stroke Rehabilitation. In the past 5 years, I also noticed that the most complex and advanced struggles were around my clients suffering with Dementia and Alzheimer’s. There is so much pain and worry around it every day! I can only imagine how scary it must be watching your loved one going through that long journey of Alzheimer’s disease. It’s heartbreaking!
