Hi, welcome to my profile, here’s a bit about me. I am a 2020 graduate of Civil and Environmental Engineering-Structural Option from the University of Western Ontario. I practiced and performed dedication, a strong work ethic and notable interpersonal skills amongst my peers through capstone, class, clubs and social/networking events. As the 2019-2020 President of the Western Society for Civil Engineering, I've developed strong leadership and communication skills that guided our executive team and student chapter to new heights and improved objectives. Through this I’ve also learned to prioritize, to accordingly time manage and balance a busy schedule to gratefully receiving the 2020 Canadian Society for Civil Engineers Student Excellence Award while maintaining a position on the Dean’s Honours List. I strive to further develop my passion for Civil Engineering while building expertise in relevant programs. I currently work as a small buildings engineer in training at Strik Baldinelli Moniz providing structural design work for clients across Ontario under the supervision of a Professional Engineer and a team led by the company partner, Aaron Strik. Previous to this, I’ve worked in project control as an Engineer 1 for a Kiewit mega-project,the Ottawa LRT; estimation & project pursuit in Kiewit’s Eastern Canada District head office; and two consecutive summers as an Analyst on the Enterprise Project Management Office team at the CIBC head office in Commerce Court, which I proudly played a role in the development of CIBC Square’s design and company culture. As for my personal interests. I love to travel and explore new cities, have a fascination of structures, houses and interior design, love to dance (so joined Hip Hop Western for a bit of my university career) and have a Jack Russell puppy that loves everyone named Milo. With my diverse experience, energy and willingness to learn, I am determined in bringing forth relative knowledge in every aspect from both school and past work experiences to provide useful insight and assistance to the best of my ability and am a firm believer that there is a lesson worth learning in every task.
