My core competencies lie in financial controlling, technical accounting, and managing tax returns, skills honed during my tenure as a Senior Accountant with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Currently part of the Outsourced Accounting Services under Corporate Audit with the following responsibilities • Oversee the work related to bookkeeping, reconciliations, preparation of periodic management accounts, VAT returns and other ad hoc work as prepared by the team members. • Preparation of client specific management reporting packs including relevant key performance indicators and business analysis to support the business decision making. • Preparation of financial statements for audit exempt clients and liaising directly with client auditors on any matters arising. • Support and mentor trainees.
I was part of the local Finance Controlling Team of Goodyear Business Services (GBS) in Manila handling Controlling and Tax, and assisting in FP&A and Treasury processes.
I was part of the Fixed Asset and Banking Team under General Accounting of Goodyear Business Services handling Retail Banking for Goodyear Dunlop and Tyres Australia, Fixed Assets for Goodyear Dalian Tire Company Limited, and Cash Forecast for Goodyear Regional Business Services Inc.
Previously a Risk Associate under Consulting service line of the firm and having engagements on internal audit and business process review. I was also exposed to Sustainability Reporting, SOX Audit, and IT audit by assisting other teams during these engagements.
My engagements during my time as a Tax associate were pareparation and review of tax returns, tax research, and tax audit for multiple clients.
