Germany
Over the past 30 years, I have worked for companies with an international scope, a strong brand and highly recognized in their industry. I have worked and lived in four countries, both in b2b and b2c, and mostly in regulated, research-driven and issues-rich organisations. Following an initial career in commercial and investment banking, I switched to communications in 2001. After a powerful introduction into the world of PR at an agency, I spent ten years in nutritional and agricultural sciences, before returning to the financial sector in 2012 to support the transition out of the financial crisis. In 2020, I returned to life sciences, initially setting up Corporate Affairs for pharmaceutical leader Boehringer Ingelheim and since April 2025 leading its German business and footprint as Country Managing Director. Through my MBA, former banking career and current country management role I developed the necessary business acumen. My years in corporate affairs made me effective in cross-stakeholder strategizing and stakeholder dialogue. A people-oriented leader, I enjoy building teams, driving change with clear objectives and purpose, and operating in complex corporate structures with a global accent.
