From the moment our first child was born I became a fulltime mom. After maternity leave, I became a fulltime mom and had to learn how to balance a career (this was far more challenging for me than I anticipated). After my second child was born, I took a year off from my career to focus 100% of my time on being a mom. I found balance working part time for a wonderful company that gave me an opportunity to build upon my career yet still spend most of my time with my kids. In May 2021, I rejoined the workforce fulltime, and am thankful to have found a company that believes in work-life harmony and understands that work-life harmony looks different for each of us. In May 2022, we welcomed our third son to the world! Being a mom is hard any way you slice it - whether you're a "stay at home" mom, working part-time mom, or working full-time mom. I have been all three, but one job remains constant: I am still and always will be a fulltime mom. Now I have the best of both - fulltime mom and a career that I love. Who says you can't have your cake and eat it to? You just have to find the right mix that works for you!
