The Corporate Development team sources and negotiates M&A other strategic opportunities on behalf of the Group's five divisions: Insulated Panels, Insulation, Light, Air&Water, Roofing+Waterproofing, Data & Flooring Since its founding in 1965 in Kingscourt, Co. - Led 10+ buy-side and sell-side valuation and modelling projects for private equity funds and corporate clients, identifying and assessing key value drivers, risks and opportunities for deals from 20m€ to over 1bn€ - Conducted complex financial modelling, financial analysis and due diligence to support M&A transactions, financing, strategic projects and restructuring including accretion/dilution analysis, joint venture termination, synergy analysis, and scenario analysis - Coordinated other A&M practices, including risks, legal, tax, due diligence, and value creation, to provide integrated solutions - Coordinated business development and marketing efforts, including proposal writing, client meetings, and fees negotiation
- Managed and delivered 200+ business and intangible valuations for mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax, and regulatory compliance, restructuring and reorganisation, corporate services, and management planning purposes - Developed business plans and strategic options for clients, incorporating market research, industry benchmarks, and financial projections - Coordinated international teams on cross-border projects including Australia (two-year secondment), France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States - Analyzed 20+ SPAs and shareholders agreements to capture the impact of specific clauses on deal value - Prepared 5+ webinars to support business development initiatives and teams training - Developed reports and models templates to improve team’s efficiency, improve profitability and ensure high standard quality (30% time saved) - Led the implementation of new CRM software to speed up the KYC process (40% time saved) - Ensured compliance in KYC process, contracted with clients, performed risk management procedures and oversaw the cash collection
- Performed the audit of 30+ listed and private companies (from 10m€ shareholders’ equity to 200bn€ market capitalisation)
