About

Ever since my early years growing up in Guatemala, I have been fascinated by the biology of the human body and the profound impact that medicine and science can have on transforming lives. This curiosity led me into biomedical science and the pharmaceutical industry, where I spent years contributing to innovation in healthcare. Today, I am evolving this path toward a more integrative, human-centered approach to health. At the intersection of functional medicine, performance, and preventive health, I focus on helping individuals not only treat disease but optimize their energy, resilience, and long-term well-being. I am particularly passionate about bridging science with real-life application, translating complex physiology into actionable strategies for everyday life and athletic performance. In my current role at MotionLab, I am developing and scaling Sport-Santé and performance programs, working across coaching, physiology, and interdisciplinary care. In parallel, I am building Revēa Health, my own coaching practice— science-rooted, human-centered—supporting clients in reconnecting with their health, their bodies, and their potential. I thrive in collaborative, interdisciplinary environments and bring strong analytical thinking together with a deep commitment to meaningful human connection. My mission is simple: to help people move from surviving to thriving... through science, movement, and personalized care.

Experience

  • Cheffe de Projet & Health Coach at MotionLab
    Feb 2026 - Present · 6 mos

In my role, I contribute to strengthening and structuring "Sport-Santé" offerings (B2C & B2B), with the goal of making movement, prevention, and performance key pillars of long-term health. This includes clarifying programs, designing meaningful client journeys, and supporting their communication and operational deployment. I also support the development and positioning of specific services, particularly altitude and heat acclimatization chambers and corporate check-ups, to help build coherent, practical, and sustainable health solutions for both individuals and organizations. In parallel, I contribute to integrating health coaching into "Sport-Santé" pathways where relevant, working in complement with MotionLab’s clinical, performance, and therapeutic expertise to support lasting behavior change and overall well-being.

  • Career transition at Career Break
    Mar 2025 - Jan 2026 · 11 mos

After several years in the biotech and medtech industries, I’ve stepped into a new chapter in my career, grounded in prevention and a more person-centered approach to health. While modern healthcare excels at treating disease, I’ve come to recognize how often it overlooks the deeper work of supporting lasting health and well-being. I trained with the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy (FMCA), the only coaching organization that partners with the Institute of Functional Medicine to integrate expertise from functional medicine practitioners into its core curriculum. The program is accredited by both the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) and the UK & International Health Coaching Association (UKIHCA). In alignment with UKIHCA professional standards, accredited training programs require a minimum of 600 hours of compulsory study and training, including at least 50 hours of coaching practice. This evidence-based training brings together functional medicine, nutrition, mind-body medicine, and positive psychology coaching to support sustainable lifestyle change. As a coach, my aim is to help individuals take ownership of their health and move toward lasting well-being, beyond symptom management. With a foundation in academic and clinical research, I have always been driven to bridge science with real-world impact. This path allows that vision to take form, using knowledge to empower, prevent, and support meaningful, lasting change. True health is not simply the absence of disease, but the capacity to live fully, with intention and vitality.

Completed and led a 3-month pilot 1:1 health coaching program at MotionLab, designed to explore the addition of health coaching as a new service and to strengthen client engagement, self-efficacy, and long-term behavior change. I coached 9 clients in French and English, supporting them in translating personal goals into sustainable actions and better aligning training, nutrition, recovery, and lifestyle habits with their objectives. Working closely with physiologists and trainers, I developed structured coaching tools, followed qualitative and quantitative outcomes, and contributed insights on how health coaching could complement and extend MotionLab’s existing offering by addressing practical implementation challenges between assessments, plans, and everyday habits. The pilot concluded with very positive client feedback, highlighting increased clarity, motivation, accountability, and a clear perceived added value.
