As a contract employee at BNY Mellon Bank, I Interpreted the legal terms and conditions from complex legal Indentures into computer models or financial waterfalls using MS Excel. The legal indentures for the CLO's ranged from $500M to $1B in notional value. The model directed the special investment vehicle (SIV) to pay creditors, debtors, trustees and collateral managers accrued fee’s, principal, interest or extraordinary payments in the event of loan default. The role required a very good understanding of process flow control logic, heightened attention to detail, computer, finance and legal contract expertise.
