Job Description: As a Civil Engineer and the designated In-Charge of the Azam Overseas Test and Training Centre, I am responsible for supervising multiple aspects of construction projects and managing the technical training operations that prepare skilled workers for international deployment. My role combines project execution, technical leadership, and training program coordination. Key Responsibilities: Construction Supervision & Project Management: Overseeing various civil construction projects from planning to execution, including structural, architectural, and finishing phases. Ensuring all site activities comply with safety, quality, and engineering standards. Coordinating with site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and completion. Monitoring progress, solving on-site issues, and reporting updates to senior management. Reviewing technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications for project implementation. Training Centre Management: Acting as the overall in-charge of the Azam Overseas Test and Training Centre. Supervising day-to-day operations, training schedules, and assessment procedures. Managing and guiding trainers, technicians, and support staff across various trades including: Scaffolding Plumbing & Sanitary Painting & Finishing Pipe Fitting & Welding Mechanical & HVAC Ducting Gypsum Work, Tiles, Bar Bending, Carpentry, and more. Ensuring that the training aligns with international job standards (e.g., GCC, KSA requirements). Conducting evaluation sessions and mock tests for worker certification and foreign job readiness. Program Coordination & Communication: Liaising with foreign clients, agencies, and organizations to understand skill demands and update training modules accordingly. Maintaining administrative records, training reports, and staff performance documentation. Supporting recruitment campaigns and worker skill verification as per overseas project requirements.
