• Develop Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Comparative Statements (CS) for Electrical Substation, Generator, Solar System, Lift, CCTV, Intercom Infrastructure, Firefighting System, VRF System, and other electromechanical systems. • Review, modification and correction of MEP design & drawings; ensure adherence to technical specifications and standards. • Supervise installation of electrical systems (internal & external electrical wiring, conduiting, substation, generator, street light, lift, solar, CCTV, PABX, lighting, etc.) and fire fighting systems and other electromechanical equipment for different projects as per approved drawings. • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for material delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of Electrical & Fire Fighting Systems. • Carry out the coordination between the Consultants, Contractors, Department Engineers, and Projects Manager on all project aspects to ensure smooth and timely implementation. • Preliminary electrical load sanction, energy meter from DPDC, ELB. • Supervise and monitor regular activities of the construction site, estimate the budget, prepare and verify bill according to BOQ, report regular progress of work to Project Director. • Estimate materials as per requirement, check site materials quality and volume and control wastage of materials during execution of work. • Ensure work quality, safety compliance & timely project delivery as per BNBC, NEC, IEC, NFPA compliance with these codes and local authority requirements according to the project schedule. • Participate in the tendering process and support the Commercial team in management of bidders’ queries, site visits and issues related to site logistics, administration and enabling works.
Job Responsibility: • Design & Drawing of Fire Safety Plan according to Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC)– 2006, 2020 for Department of Fire Service and Civil Defense (BFSCD). • Design & Drawing of Fire Hydrant System and Fire Detection System according to Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC)– 2006, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) for Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE). • Design & Drawing of Fire Standpipe & Sprinkler system, Fire Detection & Alarm System, Hydraulic Calculation, Battery Size & Voltage Drop Calculation according to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)- 10, 13, 14, 20, 25, 72, 80 for ACCORD-ALLIANCE-ILO, Ready-Made Garments (RMG) Sustainability Council (RSC), • Freehand Sketch, 2D & 3D Plan, Isometric, Schematic, Elevation, Section Drawing • Making different types of Bill of Quantities and Price Quotations. Such as Fire Hydrant & Sprinkler System, Fire Detection & Alarm System, Video Surveillance System, Access Control & PA System, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning System, BMS System, Basement Ventilation System, Lightning Protection System, etc. • Prepare Proforma Invoice (PI) and maintenance Letter of Credit (LC) formalities. • Checking the Tender documents, drawing, and design specifications for tender, Co-ordinate with consultants and contractors, sending inquiries, and preparing price comparative for procurement. checking the contractor bill, preparing the project work progress report, and participating in the meeting. • Tender document purchasing, tender document preparation, timely tender submission, and follow-up of different types of Tender. (e-GP, CPTU, PWD, CAAB, NEVY, MES, Cantonment, BFSCD & other enlistment sources.) • Accepting NOA, submission performance security, contract agreement preparation, and other necessary works.
