Funded by the Maynooth University SPUR programme (Summer Programme for Undergraduate Research), I spent 6 weeks developing an extension for Moodle (virtual learning environment) that allows students and staff to collaboratively annotate files. The overall goal of this project was to develop a tool that allows educators to evaluate and improve their teaching effectiveness and allow students to become more aware of their peers’ views and opinions, increasing their critical awareness. I continued developing the extension for my Computer Science thesis. Technologies used: PHP, JavaScript, SQL and CSS.
