Had a great time instructing and interacting with the media students of the East York Collegiate Institute at Cosburn Ave, East York. Toronto. The 10th grade students went through an intensive workshop on film making, right from the birth of an idea to its final realisation as a movie film. Aided by Class teacher Cristina Lazar and Course coordinator Lien Chao, the 24 students were motivated to prepare a short film script, which they will go on to film and edit in the coming weeks. The young students were eager to get into the film making process and by close of class had already laid down plot lines of their individual scripts. The course is conducted by Mazahir Rahim under the aegis of Crazy Creatives.
Engaged in teaching and guiding two film courses. 1. From seed to realization: a six week course which gives a strong grounding in all aspects of film making from Script to shooting and editing a short film. 2. A 14 week Film Appreciation course under the auspices of Noble University, NY.
