A two-term wet-lab project working on "Exploring and optimising the extraction of imprinted gene protein products in human breastmilk", where alongside a Masters student, we were optimising the physical depletion of abundant milk proteins in human breastmilk to increase the detection of imprinted gene proteins in LC-MS/MS. Skills acquired: Protein quantification, protein depletion, western blotting, immunostaining, membrane imaging
